QuillBot’s Statistics feature gives you a quick overview of how much your text has changed after paraphrasing. It helps you understand the extent of rewriting and how it impacts readability. This feature is available in the Paraphraser and is shown automatically after you paraphrase your text.
What the Statistics box shows
Fluency
- Average words in a sentence: Compares sentence length before and after paraphrasing.
- Average syllables in a word: Compares word complexity before and after paraphrasing.
- Readability: Provides a readability score before and after paraphrasing.
Difference
- Sentence count: Number of sentences in the text.
- Word count: Number of words in the text.
- Character count: Number of characters in the text.
- Percent change: Percentage difference compared to the original text.
- Longest unchanged words: The longest sequence of words left unchanged.
The Statistics box updates automatically each time you paraphrase new text.
Where to find it
The Statistics icon is the third option on the right-side panel of the paraphrased output. Clicking it opens the Statistics box, as shown in the screenshot.
Availability
The Statistics feature is available to both free and Premium users.
