Do I need to be signed in to QuillBot to be able to use the QuillBot for Chrome Extension?

Depending on where you are using the QuillBot for Chrome Extension, you may or may not need to be signed in. 

Where can I use the extension without signing in?

On nearly all websites, you do not need to be logged in to use the extension! However, we'd recommend you do log in when using the extension as the additional functionality you get helps create a better experience! 

Where do I need to be signed in to use it?

The only website where you are required to sign in to use the extension is Google Docs. Once you are logged in, you should see the QuillBot icon in the bottom right corner activated, and QuillBot widgets should show up for every page in the document.
