If you have a QuillBot Premium subscription but won’t be using it for a period of time, you can pause your subscription instead of canceling it. Pausing temporarily stops your billing, but it does not cancel your subscription.
How to pause your subscription
- Go to your Account page by clicking your profile icon (your initial) in the top-right corner of the QuillBot website and selecting Account Details.
- Open the Your Plan tab.
- Click the Pause option.
- Choose how long you want to pause your subscription: 30, 60, or 90 days.
- Select a reason and click Continue.
You’ll receive a confirmation message showing the pause details and the date when your subscription will resume.
How pausing works
- Your subscription will be inactive during the pause period.
- You will not be billed while paused.
- Your renewal date will be extended by the number of days your subscription is paused.
- Example: Pausing for 7 days pushes your renewal date 7 days later than originally scheduled.
- Premium access automatically returns on the resume date shown in your confirmation.
Can I resume early?
Yes. You can resume at any time while your subscription is paused.

Important notes
- Team Plan subscriptions cannot be paused.
- Mobile app purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are not eligible for pausing.
- Pausing does not cancel your subscription.
