You can turn off auto-renewal at any time from your Account page. Disabling renewal stops future payments, but your Premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
How to disable renewal
- Go to your Account page by clicking your profile icon (your initial) in the top-right corner of the QuillBot website and selecting Account Details.
- Open the Your Plan tab.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- Follow the prompts to disable auto-renewal.
Once disabled, your subscription will remain active until its expiration date.
How to confirm that your renewal is disabled
After canceling:
- You should see a Resubscribe option under Manage Subscription.
- Your subscription status will show “Ends on” followed by the expiration date.
If you still see a renewal date scheduled, the cancelation may not have processed correctly.
Important notes
- Disabling renewal does not cancel your subscription immediately. You’ll still have Premium access until your billing cycle ends.
- Partial refunds are not issued. If you disable renewal more than 3 days after you’re charged, you are not eligible for a refund.
- If your subscription is paused, you must resume it before the Cancel Subscription button appears.
- If you purchased Premium through the mobile app, you must cancel through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not the QuillBot website.
