If you transfer data outside the EU, what safeguards do you have in place to ensure their protection?

QuillBot has offices in the United States and India, and we work with service providers throughout the world. This means that we may transfer personal data from the EU when doing so is necessary to provide our services. When we do, we take appropriate measures to safeguard their transfer, including implementing industry-standard security practices, being certified, complying with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks (“DPF”) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and using data protection agreements with Standard Contractual Clauses.
