How do I install Quillbot for Word (online & desktop)?

Our free MS Word add-in combines Quillbot with the classic word processor, giving you a seamless editing experience. You can install the add-in for Microsoft Word online or for the Microsoft Word app on your Windows or Mac computer.

MS Word online (Word for the web)

Perfect your writing with Quillbot for Microsoft Word online.
If you are logged in to Microsoft Office in your browser, you can install our add-in directly using the installation button available on the QuillBot for Word page.

MS Word app (Windows & Mac)

Perfect your writing with Quillbot for the Microsoft Office app.
If you have the Microsoft Word app downloaded on your Windows or Mac computer, install the Quillbot add-in directly from the Microsoft Office Store:

Installation steps

1. Open Microsoft Word.
2. Go to Home > Add-ins > Get Add-ins.
3. In the search bar, type “Quillbot.”
4. Click Add to install the QuillBot Add-in.

After installation, you’ll find Quillbot under My Add-ins. Once installed, you’ll find Quillbot in the toolbar under the “Home” tab; click on “Quillbot” and select Launch Quillbot.

Simply sign in with your Quillbot account to start using the Paraphraser and Grammar Checker inside Word.
