How do I add a password?

You can easily add a password to your QuillBot account through your account settings. This allows you to log in using your email and password instead of a linked sign-in method such as Google or Apple.

Steps to add a password

1. Go to your Account page by clicking the profile icon (your initial) in the top-right corner of the QuillBot website and selecting Account Details.
   
2. Click on the Profile tab.
   
3. Select Add password.
4. Enter and confirm your new password.
   

Once you’ve added a password, you can log in using your email address and the new password—your Gmail will no longer be required for sign-in.

Note: Adding the password will sign you out of all active sessions. You’ll need to log in again on all your devices.
