While this is a rare occurrence, QuillBot will occasionally permanently disable accounts. Generally, these fall under a few reasons:
- Violation of terms of service. This falls under things such as account sharing and reselling, which are explicitly forbidden. If you purchase an account from a reseller directly, your account is liable to be disabled at any time. Accounts that have abnormal activity and device counts are also flagged.
- Fraudulent activity. If an account is found to have been using a fraudulent payment method it is permanently disabled. This can also include if a card owner disputes a payment as fraud. We actively review payments and may disable accounts based on suspicion of fraud.
If you believe your account was disabled by mistake, please contact us and we can review it further. Remember, if you purchase QuillBot premium from a place other than QuillBot itself, such as Shopee or a Facebook seller, these accounts are illegitimate.
