What is the summarizer and how do I use it?

The summarizer is a tool that you can use to take larger articles or pieces of text and summarize them into a more manageable paragraph or see the most important sentences in the text.

How do I use the summarizer?

To use the summarizer, first type, paste, or upload the text that you want summarized. Then, click the "Summarize" button. Your text will process, and then the summary or key sentences will appear in the output box.

What settings can I adjust with the summarizer?

There are two settings you can adjust with the summarizer. They are circled in red in the image below:

These two settings are:

• Key Sentences/Paragraph: You can choose if you want to see your summary as a paragraph, or if you want to see the most important sentences from the article itself.
• Summary Length: This slider controls how long your results are. You can choose a shorter or longer paragraph, and control how many key sentences you are shown.
